Hello to all from Youghal AC.

We had a wonderful night in Kilcredan with their first 5K race. It was a great success with plenty of prizes and loads of good food (some people even took home some goody bags). There were 60 runners from Youghal AC in the race and well done to all. We had a number of prize winners and they all put in great performances. Well done to Finbarr Kingston and all the organisers of this event.

Great to see mothers and daughters competing in the same competition.

Well done also to Patricia Curtin on winning the All-Ireland Senior School javelin completion. This is a very prestigious award both for Patricia and her club and especially as she is also currently doing her Leaving Certificate.

There were a number of Youghal athletes who took part in the Cork City Marathon and half-Marathon and a big well done to all that finished and recorded great times in the process.
