The Munster uneven age Cross country was held in Beaufort , Co. Kerry on Sunday 8th November in what could only be described as horrendous conditions. It rained for almost all of the juvenile races but this didn't seem to effect out young athletes who performed brilliantly on the day.

Clodagh Fitzgerald was the first to run for Youghal in the U 9 girls races and she had a great run to finish 31st .

Aidan McNamee and Dylan Parker competed in the U9 boys race . Aidan finished strongly in 6th position , winning and individual Munster medal and a silver Cork team medal. Dylan had a great run too and finished 47th.

The U11 girls were led home by Avril Millerick who had a brilliant race to finish 2nd overall and obtain an individual Munster medal. Alex Cashman had a great run to finish in 13th position. Both girls getting gold Cork team medals. Lesley Cashman was next home in 32nd position followed by Kerry Barrett 54th . Faith McEvitt followed in 67th and Tirna Cahill 69th.
