She was also 2nd scorer for Cork and Munster, winning gold county and bronze provincial medals , in addition to her individual  National medal. Poppi Devereaux was next home in 52nd position followed by Eireann Barrett 63rd and Rachel Murray 98th. Ruby Kennedy and Katie Ansbro completed the team which finished 6th overall. Unfortunately due to the Ladies race being brought forward by almost an 1hr, most of our ladies missed their Race.  Ruth and Lisa however were lucky enough to make the start line with Ruth taking 3rd place.  Evelyn who arrived as the runners were just starting togged off and even ran back to the start and gave chase! Well done Evelyn.
In near perfect conditions on a very fast cross country course we had a large number of Youghal men take to the start line. Well done to Brendan, Dave, Mossy, Ciaran, Paul, Stephen, Dermot and George who all had great performances.
