Well done to Kate and Caoimhe McCarthy who took part at the Fota Cheetah 5km Run on Thursday evening 19th May 2022.

The Munster Schools T&F championships were on today 21/05 and Youghal AC had 7 athletes representing their respective schools of which 6 qualified to the National championships.

Intermediate Girls Sorcha Kilgannon & Poppi Devereaux were 2nd & 3rd respectively in Pole Vault, both with a jump of 2.85M.

Senior Girl Robyn Buckley, who only just recently took up High Jump jumped fantasticly to clear 1.4M to place her 4th overall but unfortunately just outside of the qualification placing.

Avril Millerick & Emma Landers had fantastic runs in the 3000M placing 2nd & 3rd respectively with times of 10.01 & 10.03.

Grace Rooney placed 7th in the 200M & won the 400M Hurdles in a time of 1.14.

Avril Cashman was a good winner of the 1500M steeplechase event with a time of 5.26.
