3 Youghal AC members made their way to Navan on Sunday for the National Uneven Championships. Well done to Olan Rochford who finished 30th in the Boys U11 race securing a Silver County team medal for Cork in the process . Aine Collins ran a solid race in the U15 girls and will no doubt continue to improve into 2024 and beyond . Alex Cashman won an individual medal finishing 9th in the U19’s girls race, whilst also scoring for a Gold winning Cork team. Great work from all 3 representatives

A bit closer to home, Keith Kelly and Donal Sheehan made their way to Newmarket for the super-fast 5km running great races

Weekend Update 10th December ‘23

Youghal AC were well represented at home and on the continent over the weekend, with members taking part at the 5-mile Turkey Trot An Sean Phobal on Sunday morning, which doubled as a nice social morning for all runners.

By the time these athletes toed the start line, Katie Cronin had already completed her ½ marathon in Malaga – well done Katie.

Then it was time to go home and put the feet up and watch our elite athletes compete at the Euro Cross Championships – massive well done to Fearghal Curtin and Avril Millerick on their achievements
