Nov 21 All-Ireland Evenage Cross Country Championships

We had eight juveniles representing us at the National Even Age Cross Country Championships in Santry on November 21^st: Ruby Devereaux, Vivien Millerick, Alex Cashman, Avril Millerick, Emma Landers, Avril Cashman, Robyn Buckley & Liam O’Connor.

First up to the starting line was Ruby Devereaux who had a superb race in a large U12 boys field to finish strongly in 45^th position placing 7^th on the Cork team. Next up was Vivien Millerick in the U14 girls 3K race where she ran well to finish 42^nd scoring 5^th position points on the Cork Team.

Liam O’Connor had a super run in the U18 6K race to place 36^th overall & scored 5^th position points on the Cork Team to win County Team Silver.

Our U18 Girls Team dazzled in the U18 4K race to win the U18 All-Ireland Club Team Gold title with a score of 67 points. Avril Millerick led the team home winning herself 5^th individual medal position, followed closely by Emma Landers winning 9^th medal, Avril Cashman 11^th medal, Alex Cashman 42^nd & Robyn Buckley 87^th . Alex scored for the Cork Team to win Silver. Avril Millerick, Emma & Avril Cashman also won County Team Silver & additionally scored for Munster to win them Regional Team Gold. Congratulations all on an outstanding achievement.
