Post date: Mar 26, 2012 12:19:23 PM
Hello to all from Youghal AC. Our club is now seen as the biggest growing club in Cork and the Youghal singlet’s are visible in large numbers at all race in Cork, Waterford and further afield.
Our first news this week must go to our Men’s Novice team who came third in the Munster Road Race championship on Sunday 11th March in Inniscarra. Well done also to our ladies team who competed in the same event (results below). We also had prize winners in the BHAA events in Mahon and Little Island and the road race in Ballinhassig. It was also noted that they were some members getting a prize for the first time and many who achieved new PB’s in these events.
Youghal AC had a number of runners competing in the Mallow 10 mile race on Monday 19th March 2012. As the numbers of new members are increasing and competing, would you please text 087 9165819 with your name and what event you ran in so that we can ensure all our members get a mention, except you ‘Guy’ I will hear that anyway.
We also had our men’s O40 and O50 teams competing in the Munster Masters in Waterford on the 25.03.2012, I have not got all the results to date but our men’s O40 team won the Munster Championship, well done lads a brilliant result for the club.
