20241103 Weekend Review
Also in action this weekend…….
One week on from the Dublin marathon @donal_sheahan took the short trip to Blarney for the stone mad half marathon coming in in a super time of 1:52:26.
Further afield @trisha.curtin smashed the Ironman 70.3 Turkey. Well done Trisha, all the hard miles certainly paid off.
On Monday 5th November our teams were presented with their medals from the recent East Corks and Munster Championships. A few boys missing from photos.

20241110 Weekend Review
Plenty of action for Youghal AC athletes over the course of the weekend with our juveniles at the County B Cross Country Championships in Macroom and our adults taking to the trails in Wicklow and the roads of Castleloyons.
On Saturday John Mason and Donna Savage took to the beautiful woodlands of Clara Vale at Gaelforce 10K Wicklow - Donna securing a 13 min PB in the process
30+ juveniles, under the guise of coach Deirdre Ansbro, represented the club with aplomb at the County B'S. Tadhg Rochford and Cathrach O' Laoire showing strongly in the U15 Boys race, Tadhg coming second in a strong field, the pick of the bunch.
8 Youghal AC athletes donned the singlets for the Thomas Kent Memorial 10km on Sunday morning, results as follows:

20241117 Weekend Review
What a day for Youghal AC at the National Even Age Cross Country Championships in Enniskillen. Our U12 boys all had super runs with Diarmuid Murphy leading the team home in 6th place to secure team bronze. Diarmuid and Olan Rockford also scored for Cork to win gold and Diarmuid also scored for Munster to win gold. Also in the team were Fionn and Brogan McCarthy, James Kelleher and Shay Walsh.
Also in action in the Junior ladies race were Avril Millerick and Alex Cashman. Avril came home in third place taking the national bronze medal while Alex also had a super strong run. Well done to all.
