All Ireland Juvenile Indoor Championships - 22nd/23rd March

Well done to Youghal AC athletes Cian Greene, Lauren O’ Mahoney and Sean Broderick who all reached finals in their events at the All Ireland Juvenile Indoor Championships at Athlone on 22nd and 23rd March.

Cian Greene came 2nd in the U19 60m with a superb time of 7.11. It is great to see Cian progressing so well this season. Lauren O’ Mahoney also came 5th in the U18 Shot Putt which is a great result; her best throw was 9.56m with a 3kg shot. Sean Broderick came 5th in the U16 60m with a time of 7.66. He also did very well in the Long Jump finishing 4th with his best jump of 5.60, He was unlucky not to be in the medals on this occasion.

Well done all at these Championships where the standard is extremely high.
