Youghal Athletic Club - (Sponsored by Youghal Credit Union) 29th Feb 2012
Post date: Feb 29, 2012 8:28:59 AM
Hello to all from Youghal AC. We have had another few busy weeks on the running front as you can see from the results below. It was great to see Youghal jerseys competing as far away as Kenmare. I would like to wish speedy recoveries to a few of our athletes – Slyvie (who will not spend money on a physio), Eddie (who cannot bear pain) and Mary O’ (who is waiting for better prizes later in the year).
Our Winter league finished last Thursday night with a few people putting in PB’s on the night, especially Gordan “Lightfoot”. It was another great success and well done to Michael Whyte for his organisation and timekeeping. Our club captains for the coming year are Male – John Malone and Female - Rikki Devereaux.
