Great day in Youghal on 24th May and the Emer Casey 10K saw the old route back in action on what was yet another hot day. It was a day of 2 halves with the juvenile race (2mi) taking place at 12.30pm - when a sea of the new hi-viz yellow took off at speed down the newline. All going well, this may be an event that will be extended to other secondary schools for 2016.

Then onto the main event and some 411 runners and a host of walkers took to the streets of Youghal, well supported by Youghal AC. Youghal AC again took top honors with Ann Marie 1st home. A whole host of other category and team prizes were also taken by Youghal AC - nice one.

Special mention to those of Youghal AC who took to the roads in Kilcredan Friday night just gone for the 5K and donned the jersey again today for todays 10K. Great support and doesn't go un-noticed.

Also well done to Leslie Cashman and Aine O Regan who were 1st and 2nd in the Juvenlle race and to Dean Savage who was 2nd in the male juvenile section.
