County T&F Championships, MTU Track - 1st May 2002 - Results:
U18 400M Hurdles: Grace Rooney 1st.
U18 2K Steeplechase: Avril Millerick 1st, Alex Cashman 2nd.
U17 400M: Jude Buckley 3rd.
U17 Pole Vault: Poppi Devereux 1st & Sorcha Kilgannon 2nd.
U16 Long Jump: Saorla Ni Laoire 2nd (also 6th place in the sprint final).

Tullamore Throws
Well done to Becky Watson and Barry Healy on a weekend of competing in the Tullamore throws festival. Becky came in 4th in the 28lb WFD with a PB of 5.9m, with Barry bagging 4 medals over the course of the weekend. 2 Golds in the masters discus (40.38m) and 56lb WFD (7.67m). 2 Silvers in the seniors discus(41.14m SB) and 56lb WFD (7.35m). #notbadforaromanticweekendaway
