Youghal AC Juveniles turn out in big nunbers for beach race, 'Stride by the Tide'

The club had a large number of juveniles who participated in the beach race on 22nd April last. Fearghal Curtin, Jennifer Hennessy, Emily O' Keefe and Sarah O' Sullivan did the 4 mile event with many of our senior runners. Fearghal won the Junior section and Declan Kelly from Midleton CBS was 2nd. Jennifer Hennessy won the Ladies Junior section and Sarah O' Sullivan was 2nd.

Many of the younger athletes did a 2 mile run and included Eoin and Niamh O' Brien, Jake McCarthy, Autumn and Poppy Devereaux, Faith McEvitt, Rory and Sean Donnellan, Evan and Lucy O' Keefe, Anthony McGrath, Tirna Cahill, Aine O' Regan, Emma and Colm Landers, Rebecca and Jayne O' Sullivan, Ross and Sarah Williams and Matthew Cody. All ran very well in windy conditions and had great fun.
