Youghal AC Juveniles compete at Ballintotis 4

Youghal AC has four younger athletes in action at the Ballintotis 4 mile on 19th April with a large number of men and women from the club. Emily O' Keefe won the 2nd Junior prize on the night after her fine run in 34.01m; her Dad Marty was also a prize winnner in the O/40 category on the night. It was great to see Sarah O' Brien, Sally Flanagan and Lauren McCarthy also take part and run very well in thier first road race. Sarah's Dad Martin is also a very well known runner in the Senior section and also ran on the night. Lauren also had great support from family in the race including Barbara Kirby and Claire Fogarty. Well done girls!
