All Ireland Track And Field Championships – 13th July 2014

Youghal AC had two athletes competing in Tullamore on Sunday 13th July the first day of the A Championships. Lauren O’ Mahoney did very well in the G/18 Shot Putt coming 5th with her best throw of 9.05m (3kg). Jack Daly came 3rd in the B/19 Javelin 36.40m and came 6th in the Discus 25.61m. Lauren will also compete in the Javelin event on Day 4 of the Championships on 27th July. Both athletes will also compete in the National League final on 3rd August.
