The second day of the Juvenile Cross Country Championships were held on 11th October. The sun was shining all day in Carrigadrohid , Macroom for the juvenile uneven age XC championship. The heat made this undulating course tougher that expected for our young athletes.

Only 2 girls from Youghal AC lined up on the start line of the U9 race . Clodagh Fitzgerald finished well in 14th position followed by Aimee Ryan 37th running her first ever xc race.

The U9 boys were led home by Aidan McNamee who battled all the way to the line to obtain a joint 1st individual medal. Dylan Parker followed in 9th position with Fionn Brennan 45th.
