Cork County Intermediate Cross County Championships 16-Oct-2016

On a beautiful morning, the ladies and gents took to the fields of Carrig na bhfear, unfortunately due to heavy rain the night before conditions under foot were not easy.

First out were our Ladies team of Ruth, Evelyn, Ali and Ricky. Well done to Ali and Ricky who ran to make up a team. Great race ladies.

Ruth and Evelyn had fantastic runs taking the lead from the start, Ruth pushed ahead of Evelyn at half way and took victory with Evelyn taking 2nd place. The ladies took Silver in the team category.

In the men’s race, we had Nigel, Brendan, Ciaran, Paul, and David representing Youghal. They finished 3^rd in the team category.

Next Cross Country will be held on November 6^th with both East Corks and County Novice B and Masters.
